EuroMeSCo The official think tank of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, Euromesco is formed by a network of research institutes drawn from the members of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. Its papers contribute to the shaping of Euro-Med policies and to increase citizens' awareness and knowledge of the EU's Mediterranean dimension.

International Relations and Security Network (ISN) Based in Zurich, Switzerland, at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), the ISN drafts research projects and education activities, provide news stories and in-depth analyses, and develop technologies for information sharing and for creating and supporting e-learning.

Crisis Group Drawing on its experts in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central, South and South East Asia, Crisis Group has published numerous reports dealing with the role of Islamist movements in Muslim societies and the relationship between Islamism, violent conflict and pressure for reform. These reports assess both the differences and similarities, putting the current high visibility of Islamism into political, social and historical context.

European Policy Centre (EPC) The EPC runs in-depth programmes on the future of CFSP, Global Governance Multicultural Europe and Enlargement and Neighbourhood Europe.

Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) the Centre for European Policy Studies is an independent policy research institute dedicated to producing sound policy research leading to constructive solutions to the challenges facing Europe today.

Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN) The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network is a network of human rights organisations based in more than 20 countries from the Euro-Mediterranean region. The EMHRN was established in January 1997 with the overall objective to contribute to the protection and promotion of the human rights principles embodied in the Barcelona Declaration of November 1995 and in the bilateral association agreements between the EU and its Mediterranean partners. From the organisational point of view, it is based on a decentralised approach. Its main bodies consist of an executive committee, a general assembly and a secretariat.

Oxfam Solidarité Oxfam-Solidarity supports approximately 200 projects and programmes in the third world thanks to the co-financing by the Belgian government and the European Union. The income from the organisation comes from its recycling activities and also from the support of its donors and as a result of its campaigns.

Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) Alongside European and Atlantic affairs, the Mediterranean and Middle East Programme has been among the first research programmes to be developed at the Institute and dates back to its foundation in 1965. It generated a number of research projects. The Programme reflects the perception in Italy that regions south of Europe are a factor influencing national as well as Western security and contributing to shape the process of European integration

London Middle East Institute at SOAS The London Middle East Institute (LMEI) draws upon the resources of London and SOAS to provide teaching, training, research, publication, consultancy, outreach and other services related to the Middle East.

Bitterlemons Bitterlemons.org is a website that presents Israeli and Palestinian viewpoints on prominent issues of concern. It focuses on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and peace process. It is produced, edited and partially written by Ghassan Khatib, a Palestinian, and Yossi Alpher, an Israeli. Its goal is to contribute to mutual understanding through the open exchange of ideas.

PASSIA PASSIA is an Arab non-profit institution located in Jerusalem/Al-Quds. It seeks to present the Palestinian Question in its national, Arab and international contexts through academic research, dialogue and publication. Passia carries out research, symposia and workshops.

The Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES) The mission of the Center is to promote economic development in Egypt by conducting and disseminating applied policy research. The aim of this research is to develop viable policy options for Egypt in light of international experience.
